I just ordered mine yesterday, delivery end of November. Anyone want an Easy Raider with a good solid Jabiru up front? Current permit, two minute one man folding wings, great fun to fly. Cruise 75mph at 2700 rpm. What offers? 07771727511 Lincolnshire.
Hi Bernard That’s good news, as Graham has now sold his first full allocation. Looks like there will be four aircraft being imported and hopefully a reduction in delivery costs. My RANS has now been sold so no flying for me until the Merlin arrives. Graham has done a good deal by getting the aircraft painted by the factory. Trying to sort out transport from Graham's place to the North East. Was hoping to use a covered van of some sort but none have long enough body length so looks like an open trailer of some sort.
Hi All and a belated happy new year to you and your dearest. We collected the Merlin just before Christmas from Graham Smith of Sprite Aviation in Kent. I am forever grateful to Mel, Derek and friends who stayed late to assist me off load the aircraft. I am now in the process of completing the build and as they say 95% complete but 101% still to do. Progress has been slow due to the Christmas and New Year festivities but hopeful thing will speed up now. Hope to be showing off the Merlin in the near future. John
Hi all Still waiting for the missing parts which are due Friday. The original design was to pre-mix the fuel and oil but we have chosen to use the Rotax 582 oil injection system. Graham Smith the importer has been very supportive. He has designed a workable 3 to 1 throttle splitter as all standard ones were not compatible with the throttle quadrant and hopefully this issue will be sorted soon. I'm by no means an engineer or metal worker but this process has made me become aware of the quality of construction the designers have achieved. SSDR plus a new design is a gamble but so is life, these new single seater's are what microlighting has needed to kick start it back to life. John Looking forward to getting G-CJTD in the air soon
